I am also pursuing the degree of elctronics engineer so I can better tell you the truth. Opt for electronics engineering as far as possible. Nowadays, it is very common to get news that E.C branch is going to close so it depends in which college you are studying. So, it affects your exposure after 4 years. SO, opt for e.c because it have wider scope and sub units which have a bright career.
