This is a genuine question as many students have this dilemma. First of all between electrical and electronics engineering (EEE) and electronics engineering (ece) EEE has vast syllabus they have to study both electrical core and ece part. Electronics students have to study only electronics part but in a little deep. In the perspective of jobs EEE can have both options but ece will have only option for electronics job. But again if you like electronics then go for ece if you like both electronics and electrical then go for EEE.

Hi!! Which branch is better is really a matter of personal opinion. Its all relative! Your interest level should be a major deciding factor for which branch to chose. Also remember that in every college a particular branch may be better than the other despite the opposite situation in some other college. You should check the placements from respective branch in a selected college. Each college will give you a different perspective of that branch and that would only add to your dilemma. Thats why I would suggest to decide the branch based on your interest. You should target a college first and then compare the branches by their placements. Both the branches are well reputed and have really great scope. So bottomline is that it totally depends on your own personal interest. Introspect yourself and decide what would be better for you.
