Basically EE consists of two sub branches, EEE and ECE. EEE is electrical and electronics engineering and ECE is electronics and communication engineering. In EEE you study about electricity and its applications. To be clear, it is about power generation and transmission. You can expect placements in power generation sectors. In ECE you more about communication. It is mostly about signal processing and wireless communication.
