Dear candidate

To pursue Environmental Engineering, you need 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Math for B.Tech, or a relevant B.E./B.Tech degree for M.Tech. Minimum marks are usually 50–60%. Some colleges require entrance exams like JEE mains or GATE.

1. Diploma in Environmental Engineering (Polytechnic)

Qualification: Class 10 (Matriculation) with Science and Math

Minimum Marks: 45–50% (varies by state and category)

Duration: 3 years

Admission: State-level entrance exams or direct admission (in some states)

2. B.Tech / B.E. in Environmental Engineering

Qualification: Class 12 (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM)

Minimum Marks:

General: 50–60% aggregate

SC/ST/OBC: 45–50%
