Dear Jasmine, there is no such eligibility criteria for IELTS because IELTS is not an entrance examination. It is a Language Proficiency test conducted for admission into foreign univerisites. And this is specifically for non native English speakers who are applying to go abroad either for higher studies or for a career. This test checks various levels of the proficiency of the candidate in English. So once you have decided to take up IELTS, you have to register yourself at their official website. You can book a slot by making a payment. Once you select the date, exam city and time, you make a payment and attend the online exam on the.particular date. So once he results are out, you have to submit these results to the University that you want to take admission in.
