Hello Aspirant ,

Elimination Method

  1. Multiply each equation by a suitable number .

  2. Subtract Second equation from first equation .

  3. Solve this new equation for y.

  4. Substitute y=2 in 1 or 2 for solve x .

Substitution Method

  1. Solve one equation for one of the variable .
  2. Substitute this expression into other equation and solve .
  3. Resubstitute the value into original equation .
