The fee structure for scheduled caste is usually low. For government colleges they didn't charge any fees, the hostel is also free for SC students. In private colleges,  they charge for hostel, bus fees you have to pay for it. The admission is not there, the scholarship is high for SC students so the management takes the scholarship as their admission fee.

It depends on which college you are studying in.There are no relaxation for scheduled caste students  in private colleges.In   centrally funded engineering colleges like NITs , IITs and GFTIs scheduled caste students get complete tuotion fee waiver.You dont need to pay a penny of tuition fees.But there exist some colleges like Punjab Engineering College , Chandigarh where there is no fee waiver for Scheduled caste students .
