The National Institute of Fashion Technology conducts new entrance examination of two types NIFT common entrance test exam and NIFT General entrance examination for providing admission into various courses such as bachelors in Fashion Technology, bachelors in designing and others.

The examination is an online mode of exam where multiple choice questions asked from many topics such as Quantitative Ability, Communication Ability, English Comprehension, Analytical and Logical Ability, General Knowledge and Current Affairs.
