we can see many colleges guaranty placements, which is not true as you can see the official records of government surveys, that many a large number of students don't get a job even after graduation.

also, the student who got placed, a major part is not placed in the fields(core fields) for which they have studied for 3/4 years.

to find this out you can check student reviews of that particular college in which you are intrested.

and it will be even better if you can visit the campus your self and talk to the students studying there.
