Hello,

EWS certificate ie, Economically Weaker section is made by the students whose family income is quite less and they can’t afford the fees of any particular institution and hence having this certificate waves your fees for that college. Now talking about the cutoffs difference between a General category and a EWS category than i would like to clarify that there not at all any major deference between the cutoffs because as we all know that in every college wether it is Government or Private the seats EWS students are quite less you can assume 10 to 15% in this small range the number if students are more to apply in that category and hence it results in a higher cutoffs for that category, i guess from this you will get a basic idea about benefits of EWS certificate.
