Hi aspirant,

CBSE has announced change in exam pattern for the session 2021-22 in view of Corona pandemic that compelled board to release the results for past year on basis of internal assessment. The key points for the change in pattern is as follows:

  • There will be no annual exam or the year-end exam.
  • The current assessment scheme is similar to the semester-based system.
  • Two separate exams will be held at the end of each Term, 1 and 2.
  • Each term of the examination would constitute of 50 marks in total.
  • Out of 50, 40 marks will be for the written test and the other 10 marks will be awarded through internal assessment such as project or notebook.
  • The the written test for term 1 will constitute of objective questions and term two will contain subjective questions while the syllabus has been equally divided for both.

Hope it helps!!
