Hazardous wastes are those wastes with certain properties which  make them dangerous and potentially harmful to human health and  the environment

There are four properties of hazardous waste which are provided below :-

• ignitability :- it is the property of being flammable.
• corrosivity:- It is the property due to which something  can rust or decompose.
• reactivity :- It is the property of being  explosive.
• toxicity :- It is the property of being poisonous.
