Hello,

Many students were educated in factory, mine, or farm schools that were less appropriate than general schools. In post India, education was a challenge because the country was in an underdeveloped state. There was huge number of people who were illiterate. There was a demand for literary and scientific education, technical and professional education for which schools, colleges and universities needed to be established.

Thank you.
