For ips should i prefer B.A Or not.

B. A is a good stream as compared to other fields if your sole focus is to become an IPS after clearing the UPSC exam. B. A stream will help you to prepare for this exam cause few subjects are very helpful for this exam. It will help you to understand the basic concept and you can also refer NCERT books as well.

yes , if you had chosen ips as your career then among all the courses , B.A. is best to pursue . It provides you with the knowledge that may help you in ips exam and apart from that this course dont demand much time , so the student has enough time and less pressure to focus on the ips side .

Hey,

The Civil Services Exam is mainly dominated by four subjects History, Geography, Political Science and Economics so now if you take any of these subjects in your B.A. it is helpful 

But if you do B.A. without these subjects then or doesn't matter.
