For JEE MAINS and ADVANCED,OBC NCL caste certificate is required only from central government as per the latest guidelines.This certificate is required to be in proper format as described by jee.There should not be any mistake in it because it is required at the time of josaa counselling and if mistake found your allotment will be rejected.

I have a question. Lets say a student belongs to Uttar pradesh. But he have been studying in Mumbai since childhood, then in that case would there be any issue if he gives central governement caste certificate.? ! Thanks in advance.

To apply for JEE Main you need a cast certificate from central government.

You have to show original caste certificate at the time of counselling and admission.

I have caste and income certificate issued by Tahsilkdar in which all the essential requirements are given. Whether it is not sufficient and whether it is not considered as OBC-NCL certificate. I am not knowing how to get OBC-NCL (Central List) Certificate and from where to get. Local Tahsildar officials from Dharwad, Karnatak are sayinig that the certificate they issued itself is a OBC-NCL Certificate. Please guide me in this regard. Thank you.
