There is no hard and fast rule to have a particular degree specialization. MBA post graduation requires a minimum eligibility as 10+12+graduation in any particular field.

However, mostly people either do BBA or B.COM before pursuing MBA .

The admission to MBA in the most prestigious IIMs and some other institutions is based on Common Admission Test (CAT) which requires a graduation degree in any subject. Hence, it does not matter what your bachelor's subject is, all that matters is your CAT score and how well you perform in the interview.
