Meera, you can change your Category during the correction window.The NEET application fees is Rs. 1500 for General Category. EWS and NCL OBC have to  pay Rs.1400 and Rs. 800 for SC/ST/PWD/TransGender and the Payments can be made through Debit/Credit Cards or Net banking. Now lets say, you belong to OBC-NCL but chose General Category, you can change it during the Correction window but you will not be refunded the extra Rs. 100. But if you have selected OBC-NCL and you belong to General Category, once you select General Category, you will be asked to pay the additional amount online through Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking there itself.

Hello dear ! Greetings !
In the registration process of NEET application form , the application fees is different for different categories and for girls .
But keeping the fees in mind you can't change your eligible cast to be filled in application form . For example if you are a obc Candidate and you fill your category as SC for lower registration fees , then at the time of counseling (if you get selected ) you would need to produce your cast certificate mentioning your category as sc .
So , please fill the category which is mentioned in your caste certificate.
