Dear Candidate,

You can opt either of them as you will study the paper of social psychology in both the courses. But if you want to become a school counsellor, you will have to do a course in school counseling after graduation. There are five to six institutes in our country that provide this course:

Indian Institute of School Psychology, Telangana

Indian Institute of Counseling, Delhi

Jamia Milia Islamia, Delhi

ISCHS, Kerala, etc.

Hi Delisha ,

Hope you are doing great.

My answer would be to go with BA honors degree in Psychology. BA honors will be anytime good as comparing with simply BA because an honors degree gives better knowledge in the field as well as in the subject.

Also for a social psychologist or school counselor you need to have Undergraduate degree as well as Doctorate too.

Hope you like my answer .

All the best for your future!
