Two types of  colleges  1) non autonomous college and 2)autonomous college

coming to the non autonomous college it will be affiliated  to university where as autonomous which is completely independent and they have their own schedule whereas non autonomous college they will be follow schedule given by the Universities

And where BTech is skill oriented where as B.E is knowledge oriented COURSE



There are some autonomous colleges which give you graduation in BTech like jawaharlal nehru engineering College and all IITS and nits.

Where has the colleges like bits pilani, Anna University Chennai etc provides B.E

I am for Birla Institute of Technology which is a deemed autonomous institute so I feel I am eligible to answer your query correctly. In BIT, the B.E. degree was provided upto the year 2018. From 2018 batch onwards, they have started providing courses under the B. Tech. degree. For different autonomous institutes in India, it is different but you would mostly get B. Tech. degrees in the majority of them. Hope this answer helps!
