Many students asked me this question before, the only proof/checkup you have to go from will be to get a certificate from the corresponding govt. hospital.
Coming to the question, at the time of document verification for counseling, there will be an medical practitioner present there, just to verify your medical certificate. He won't ask you what's the difficulty with you and all. I don't think they have the authority to challenge the certificate.

Other than this , no-one will trouble you.
