Hello,
Those candidates who have passed their bachelor's degree in Petrochemical Engineering will appear for Chemical Engineering paper in GATE.So the syllabus will be of Chemical Engineering which means that you need to attempt Chemical Engineering paper in GATE. There isn't any paper for Petrochemical Engineering.
However, you can also appear for Petroleum Engineering if you want transition in specialisation in your masters.But the syllabus will be different from Chemical Engineering.
