Hi dear aspirant, as you mentioned above that you  got 80 percentile and also you belong to ST category . So according to your percentile your AIR will lie in between 170000to 240000 and your category rank will lie in between 5000 to 10000 . On the above guess ranking i would like to say that it is not a good ranking and even in category ranking it is not good . So you have very less chances of getting a good NIT and even it is not sure whether you will be getting one or not. So according to me try for other colleges of same level or try again in next phase i.e next upcoming exam . Hope it will help you.
