As per your query, girls can appear in AISSEE Exam for admission in class 6th only.

AISSEE Class 6th eligibility criteria:

• Nationality- Only Indian students can apply for All India Sainik Schools Entrance Exams (AISSEE) 2022.
• Gender- Girls and boys, both are eligible for class 6 admission at Sainik Schools.
• Age Limit- The age of a student should be between 10-12 years, as on March 31, 2022. The student should have been born between April 1, 2010 and March 31, 2012 (including both days) for academic year 2022-23.

AISSEE Class 9th eligibility criteria:

• Nationality- Only Indian can apply for admission, as per AISSEE 2022 eligibility criteria.
• Gender- Only boys can apply for Class 9 admission.
• Age Limit- Student's age should be between 13-15 years, as on March 31, 2022. The student should have been born between April 1, 2007 and March 31, 2009 (including both days) for academic year 2022-23.
• Education Qualification- Student should have passed Class 8 from a recognized school at the time of admission.

AISSEE Class 6 Application Eligibility

• Girls and boys both can fill Sainik School 2022 admission form for Class 6. However, the number of available seats for boys are more than that of girls.

• The student's age must be between 10-12 years as on March 31, 2022 (Born between April 1, 2010 and March 31, 2012 - both days inclusive).

AISSEE Class 9 Application Eligibility

• Only boys who are studying in VIII from a recognized school in India are eligible to fill Sainik School registration form for Class 9.

• The student's age must be between 13-15 years as on March 31, 2022 (Born between April 1, 2007 and March 31, 2009 - both days inclusive).

Girls are eligible for class 6th admissions in Sainik School but they are not available for 9th class admissions. The National Testing Agency or NTA organizes All India Sainik School Entrance Test for Class 6 and 9 admissions at 33 Sainik Schools. Boys and Girls both are eligible for Class 6 Sainik School admissions.  Boys/Girls who are studying in Class V in a recognized school and whose age is between 10 to 12 years as of March 31, 2022 are eligible to apply.
