first thing is that about which college you are asking but in general as much as i can tell

• girls hostel are like jail for girls as my friend tells that means they are way more safer and doesnt allow you to do anything untimely and you just have to follow all the rules and regulations
• girls hostel are organised well and guarded well
• the food quality is always greater than boys hostel
• each college provides bus if hostel is outside the campus

However, all the institutes have security management for the hostel students, especially for girls. Wardens are there for your assistance. Guards are at the hostel gates all the day, the gates are closed after the hostel in time at night, to provide better security to all .Several hostels have cctv's in the open premisis also.
