Hello student,

There are many colleges in India which offer lateral entry into 2nd year for students who have done diploma course. Admission process via this route is that you have to sit for lateral entry entrance test conducted by each college separately.

Some of the colleges which offer lateral entry are:

Punjab University - Chandigarh
Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology - Patiala
Delhi Engineering College - Delhi
Punjab University - Patiala
KIITS University
Punjab Technical University - Jalandhar
Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College - Ludhiana
Anna University - Tamilnadu
