The Department of Pre-University Education (DPUE), Karnataka, administers the Karnataka First PUC Midterm Examination to all institutions that use the state curriculum.   Every year, from September to November, the first PUC midterm exams were administered.  This year's 1st PUC exam is scheduled to be held from October 9 to 24, 2025.
