Apart from MBBS, there are various courses such as BDS, Veterinary, Ayush for which NEET is mandatory, and for BSc Nursing too NEET is acceptable however it's not compulsory, such as JIPMER, BHU, GGSIPU accept NEET for BSc Nursing, however we also have other entrance exams such as Indian Army Bsc Nursing, AIIMS BSc Nursing etc, in other cases admission is also based on the merit of the qualifying examination that's why NEET isn't compulsory for admission of BSc Nursing, because there are various options apart from NEET,  in states like Maharashtra even for admission of BPT the scores of NEET are considered, and in institutes like Jamia Hamdard even for BPharm NEET scores are acceptable.
