IMU is a national level entrance exam conducted for admissions into various disciplines of UG and PG courses offered by  INDIAN MARITIME UNIVERSITY.

Only Unmarried candidates are considered eligible for the exam.

You must have applied for a passport before taking admission.

Minimum age should be 17 years and Max age should not be more than 25 years.

You will be required to produce the medical fitness certified by Doctors approved by Director General of Shipping.

You must have studied and passed the examination in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 12th level with a minimum of 60% in aggregate. They would also be required to score a minimum of 50% marks in English at plus two levels.
