Computer science course basically reffered to the CSE branch in B.Tech is a type or branch of engineering, which deals with computer functionalities and about the internal structure of the computer. There are various subjects such as Database Management system, Data Structures, Algorithms, Digital Electronics, Networking, Software development and testing, Web development, graphics and a lot more. There is also a minor 3 year degree that is similar to B.Tech and that is BCA, which stands for Bachelors in Computer applications. The former is prefered more, firstly because it is a 4 year degree, and there is slight variation in the curriculum. Also the companies demand B.Tech graduates more. There are various colleges offering this course, the most preferred college being IIT Bombay in government college list and BITS Pilani in private college list. There is huge scope in this field and the placements are extremely high.
