Got 363 marks in NEET and was first attemp. Had less focus on NEET in compare to 12th exam. 12th score is 94%. Please advise if taking a drop is advisable with focused study for NEET 2026 or go for Private colleague this year itself

Hello

yes , dropping is a good option in your case.

You got 363 in NEET (first attempt) and 94% in boards . which shows you have potential.

Take a drop for NEET 2026 , if you can study with full focus. You can improve a lot and aim for a government MBBS seat .

Joining a private college now means very high fees and less value specially when you can do better next year.

some preparation tips for NEET 2026 .

ALL THE BEST

hope this helps you .
