Both government and private sectors are best. It depends on your personal preference.

Few years back there was a hype for government jobs because of retirement benefits and job security. 

But now there is transparency in work. 

Both sectors have their own advantages and disadvantages

- Government job : 

. government jobs have high job security and consistency 

. But you won't get satisfaction and also perfection is not necessary . 

- private Job :

. You get 100% satisfaction and get higher salary.

. If company goes in loss , you can lose your job.there is no security in private jobs

- Government sector may provide less salary but with job security

Whereas, private sector will pay higher but with no job security.

- government job has fixed working hours which helps in planning our day accordingly, whereas in private sectors jobs there are flexible working hours which is more of a curse than boon.

- growth in government sector is less as compared to private sector . In private sector growth is based on your talents and skills 

Private sectors are more competitive and more profit oriented than government sectors. 

So it's entirely upto your personality type , preferences and aspirations which sector suits you better.
