Following are the job oppurtunites in government after graduating from chemical Engineering.

1. Many PSUs in India like ONGC, BARC, IOCL, NPCIL, CIL hire chemical engineer graduate. You will have to answer and clear GATE to get into such PSUs.

2. You can pursue M. Tech and then can join as a Assistant professor in a government college.

3. You can join as a JRF/SRF in government institutes like IISc, IIT.

4. ISRO, BARC conducts separate exam for chemical graduates.
