Some of the job options that one can choose after completing Class 12th are :

• National Defense Academy ( NDA ) :

The defence sector in India consists of three wings, namely Indian Army, Indian Air Force and Indian Navy. Students who have passed 10+2 can appear for the NDA exam, from where they will be recruited to the respective armed forces.

• Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher Secondary Level :

The SSC conducts combined Higher Secondary Level Exam to recruit candidates for the posts of Lower division clerks and Data entry operators.

• SSC Stenographer :

The Stenographer exam is conducted to recruit candidates for the Grade C and Grade D positions.

• Railway Recruitment Board ( RRB ) :

The RRB conducts exam for recruiting candidates for the positions of Assistant Loco Pilot, Office Assistant, Station Master and Ticket Collector.

• Security Forces :

12th pass candidates can apply for Border Security Force ( BSF ), Indo - Tibetan Border Police Force ( ITBP ), Sashastra Seema Bal ( SSB ), Central Reserve Police Force ( CRPF ), etc.

1. SSC Stenographer garde C (Rs 9300-34800 payscale) & grade D (Rs 5200-20200)
2. SSC CHSL for postal assistant/LDC/etc posts (gross salary: Rs 22k-30k)
3. Indian coast guard (Rs 22k-48k)
4. RRB (railways) for the post of assistant loco pilot/clerks & constable of railway/station master/etc (Rs 19900-35000)
5. NDA (Rs 55000-250000)
6. Indian army (Rs 25k-1.5 lacs)
7. Indian Navy (Rs 56000-2250000)
8. BSNL dsa
9. Forest guards (Rs 5200-112000 basic pay)
10. SSC Multi Tasking Staff (in hand salary is Rs 18k-22k)
