See Govt jobs are many. Listing them out will be tough. So I shall give some pointers. PSU recruitment is there. It is through GATE or otherwise too. For that, you need to check employment news or each PSU website to know the exact details. The Indian Engineering Service is the exam for engineers and conducted by UPSC. It is a very tough exam so if you want to be in the Govt services, this is one avenue to go. There are banking jobs also but those are few. Check this site for some more

There is a huge opportunity for Mechanical Engineers in government jobs in the core as well as other sectors. You can give various exams like:
  • Indian Engineering Services
  • Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering
  • Staff Selection Commission
  • Railways
  • Banking
  • Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Airforce
By giving these examinations, you can land up at a government job, all that you need to do is great efforts and hard-work. As hard work doesn't guarantee a success but increases chances of success.
Thank You!
