Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar is a private college and known to have very good faculty and facilities inside campus. It has better placement record. The campus is well developed and atmosphere inside college is harmonious.

Whereas Haridwar and hemawati nandan bahuguna garhwal university comes under central government.
