Yes, the pattern has been changed.
1. Separate exam for B.Planning aspirants:
For the first time in the history of JEE mains, a separate exam will be organised for the candidates who wish to apply for B.Planning courses. Thus, JEE Main 2020 will be conducted for three types of papers; Paper 1 for B.Tech/ B.E., Paper 2 for B.Arch and Paper 3 for B.Planning. Now, students have a choice to appear for any one, or two, or all three papers, as per their choice.
2. Examination pattern for B.Planning:
In JEE Main 2020, Paper 3 for B.Planning will have total 100 questions divided into three parts:

3. Fewer questions in Paper 1 for B.E/B. Tech:
From JEE Main 2020, in B.E / B.Tech paper, there will be 75 questions instead of 90. The number of questions in each section of paper has been reduced from 30 to 25 with 20 multiple choice questions and 5 long-form questions based on numerical problems.
4. Pattern of Paper 2 for B.Arch:
JEE Main 2020, Paper 3 for B. Arch will have total 77 questions divided into three parts:
