hi,

see to admission in b.tech course you must secure the required percentile as well as must qualify in the entrance exam, since in india there is nation wise and state wise entrance test held every year for admission in various engineering colleges. mhtcet exam is for admission in maharastra state govt and other private colleges . mhtcet eligibility criteria is Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks (for General Category) and at least 45% marks (for reserved category and Persons with Disability candidates) in aggregate of 5 subjects. now even if you qualify the entrance test or take admission in engineering colleges, you will face problems during placement time.

since most of the information technology service based company as well as core technical organization has the eligibility criteria of 60% marks in 12th course in recruitment process. since you donot have the required marks you will not eligible to many companies. but again there is small startup companies which pay scale may be less but they hired candidates just based on their skills not only based on academic score. if you would work hard you may get placed in very good paying job once you have the years of experience. there is many candidate every year enrolls for engineering who have not a very good academic profile and at the last of placement time they face issues. so I want you to know all the facts before coming in engineering field.

hope it would help.

Raghvendra Manoj Kumar Singh see , if you want to do b.tech than it would be best to join just after 12th. now if you choose bsc course , then after completing bsc you should go for m.sc. btech course is more technical and job oriented whether b.sc course is generalized theory of any particular subjects.
