You are talking about the aptitude test which is a part of recommendations for JEE 2017. Aptitude test is like a mental awareness test where there can be sections of quantitative aptitude, reasoning, data interpretation etc. You can prepare for the test via practice only. Speed matters for these type of tests, also how sharp is your mind.
