I think you have clarity but I don't know why you are confused. You have already took your decision that your are interested in computer science then go join computer science engineering don't worry work with passion you don't get product based companies that easily you have to join in some reputed to colleges else you have to do masters from IITs,NITs,IIITs else it is very difficult to join in then. 

Somehow If you have joined that companies your line will be smooth. Remember the scope of computer science is very good.
