Yes, for A Level students who are seeking admission into IITs, the requirement is to have at least 5 subjects passed in total  this includes subjects at O Level  and A Level combined. So, if you’ve cleared 3 subjects at O Level and 2 at A Level, making a total of 5 distinct subjects, it fulfills the basic eligibility.

The condition of 5 pass subjects is applicable to international board students as well, including those from the Cambridge A Level system.
