Since you are a Btech student you can opt for courses which are directly related to animal sciences like General Animal Science, Animal nurtition, Equine care and managemen, animal breeding and laboratory animal sciences. These courses focus upon the concepts as:

Animal nutrition
Animal anatomy and physiology
Veterinary parasitology
Beef cattle management
Companion animal care
Equine health
Slaughterhouse inspections
