Now you have a fair option to pursue your Masters degree in Marine Engineering after appearing and successfully cracking GATE Examination this year. If you are capable of doing that, then you can choose Marine Engineering as your specialization. However there is another advantage of the resemblance of Mechanical Engineering and Marine Engineering streams.
