Hello,

First of all you must know the syllabus of the Quantitative Aptitude section of CAT exam. Here's the syllabus-

1. Number System

2. Profit loss and Discount

3. LCM and HCF

4. Speed Distance and Time

5. Percentage

6. Time and Work

7. Ratio and Proportion

8. Averages

9. Set theory and Function

10. Trigonometry

There will be 26 Questions from the QA section and There will be TITA Questions as well. So you will have to focus on your weak areas. Go through the past question papers and Mock Test Series and have a look at the questions asked. You will get 3 marks for every correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. There FM would be 228 marks. See some YouTube videos for QA section.

I have mentioned only 10 sections from the QA syllabus of CAT, the  actual QA syllabus is deeper, please go through this link to get the entire syllabus of CAT exam including VARC, QA, LIDR-
