Hello!

Yes, there are some eligibility criteria. Your age should not be less than 17 when you are appearing for NEET, similarly upper age limit is 25. Candidates must have completed their board examination from a recognized board and they must have an 50% in their PCB total for UR category, 40% for OBC/SC/St categories and 45% for PWD.

Dear aspirant,

The basic eligibility criteria for NEET is mentioned below.

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board.

  • Class 12 or equivalent appearing aspirants are also eligible for NEET

  • There is no upper age limit, till the Supreme Court passes its judgment on it.

  • Candidates must have completed 17 years as on December 31, 2021.

  • The class 12 percentage required for NEET 2021 exam is separate for each category and can be listed as under. NEET eligibility marks in class 12 to be considered are aggregate marks only for PCB subjects

    • UR - 50%,

    • OBC/SC/ST - 40%,

    • PWD - 45%

Till now there is no notice regarding the change of aggregate percentage. But it is the basic criteria , so it is very hard to change this criteria.

Hope this helps.
