Yes there is single girl child quota in Maharashtra and goa which provides financial assistance to families to raise their girl child and encourage her to complete her basic education.there are several scholarship schemes like manjhi kanya bhagyashree, savitri Bai Phule for b.c girl and indira gandhi single girl child scholarship by Maharashtra government gives certain amount to beneficiary account.same as goa government also provides schemes like mamta scheme,laadli Laxmi,beti bachao beti padhao.

Also,single girl quota introduced in goa medical college,dental college, engineering, pharmacy for 1 percent of the total seats are reserved for single girl children.
