Hello sir cet in ma economics and their scope?can I persue as I m completing bcom this year

Hey. The first option is teaching in school and colleges. Economics is a subject that is taught in high school and most of the colleges. There are a lot of college vacancies for economics. But yes, you need to clear the National Eligibility Test. But let me warn you that you will get tough competition in teaching from candidates with higher educational qualifications especially in the metro cities. Almost all multinational firms require analyst and consultants. many companies come for placements in the universities to hire post graduate students. Even the IT firms require economist. There are numerous research institutes in India which requires consultants and research officers. These institutes can be government and private as well. Most institutes have some screening process either written exam or interviews. Hope this helps. All the best.
