If you are looking for further studies, you can pursue MA in political science and then earn a doctoral as there is no upper age limit. After getting your degrees you can apply for lectureship. There are exams like NET to apply for the position of an assistant professor. You can also pursue your career as a political scientist.

Alternatively, you can get into the field of research by further pursuing a M.Phil. or a PhD. In case you wish to change the course of your study, you can apply for an LLB degree.
