Hello Sameer. Yes you will have to take admission in the direct second year after doing your diploma which is of 3 years. Also drastic changing of branch from machinist to IT is not possible if you are already done with your diploma. Usually you can change your branch after the 1st year of diploma or degree. Or the other option is to get admission from the first year in IT branch. Also if you could specify which college you want to get into, we could provide you with the cut off of that college whether you can get admission or not. Good luck with your admissions.
