Dear Dibyanshu, Yes you can give jee mains exam, rather i will also advise you to drop for one year and give the improvement exam to raise your percentage if your marks in boards exam is 62% as to secure more than 75% exam in 12th standard, and then you can get even nits in place of good private college.

Dear Dibyanshu, if 62% is your jee mains percentile then I suggest you to go for next attempt of jee mains.If you also doesn't get good percentile in next attempt,then you can go for dropping one year.If you will really study hard in one year then thr outcomes will beyond your imagination and you can get good government college also like iits and nits rather than a private college
