As you mentioned, you belongs to ST category. ST category is itself very helpful for you to get best government college with little low efforts, as for ST category the cut-off of exams like CUET, JEE MAINS, CLAT are relatively low. But it doesn't mean you should not put effort to get best college. You must have proper vision (goal set ) on which college you want admission, then collect information like which exams it accept, what will the minimum marks for ST. Also have atleast 2 alternative colleges if by bad luck not get top desired college.
